My goal at Emarsys is to help us yet again distrust the online marketing industry both by having a world-class product organisation as well as having a strong product strategy.Being one of the Product Area Director I am responsible for the strategical direction of an area focusing on Data management and the impact of 4 teams in the area. 4 teams, who are led by 3 Product Managers reporting to me. Next to these 4 teams and the area, I am also leading one other team as a Product Manager, who is working on one of the strategical elements of Emarsys data management.

- Lead 2 squads built up from different disciplines (Engineering, UX, Marketing, Data, Product) to align with the higher level goals and other teams plans- Continuously set up the direction for these squads to maximise their impact on travellers- Create and run squad's strategy, value milestones (Roadmap), experiments.- Run and improve reporting inside the tribe around OKRs, and help squads to align toward company OKRs.Tranformation:- Combined Search: Merge 3 verticals into one combined search flow to 3x flight to hotel cross sell on mobile web and apps.0 -> 1 products:- Price Prediction: Help low intent users to retain better (3x push subscription), and increase booking rate for high intent users- User Generated Content: Build up a Tripadvisor like review feature inside the Skyscanner app, based on an acquired product and stack to validate (and disprove) that such a vertical can help improve app retention.- Branch.io integration to boost app acquisition by utilising the mobile web traffic.Redesign:- New Brand adaptation: Rebrand the App and apply sparkles, to achieve a successful lunch of a new brand leading toward App store highlights, Press highlights without any harm to app metrics.- New App Profile: Refresh the look and feel of the profile section leading toward better value proposition for creating an account. 2 digit increase in both signup and login rate.- Android Search header redesign: UX improvements on the Flight search headr leading toward an increased booking rate. Experimentation leading toward new goals being funded, some examples:- Recent Searches: Increase funnel conversion, by making it simple to access and continue last searches.- Personalised App onboard and deep-linking: Tooling for app deeplingking and experiment with a personalised app onboarding.- Cross linking flight and hotels: to prove that users do need flight and hotel results before making a booking
