I would help fill customers orders as they came in. To do so I used a forklift to get pallets of plastic panels that could be as large as 39 feet long and take them to the cutting tables to cut them to size. I would fill out paperwork for the orders and keep track of the inventory that is left after filling and wrapping up the order. I also made pallets and crates to ship the products out on/in. That required using several power saws and nailguns to make them. I would load and unload trucks & shipping containers with the forklifts. We load/unload the longer pallets on flatbeds with two forklifts working in tandem. I was also responsible for keeping the warehouse swept and clean.

I lead the Patient Access department of Memorial's ExpressCARE in it's day to day operations, keeping staff up to date on changes that are happening or encouraging them to be mindful of problems they may be having and providing solutions on ways to improve. I work in conjunction with the other departments to give our patients to best outcomes possible and make sure my staff works well with those departments. I train new staff as they join and continue to guide and mentor them throughout their career. I do all of the supply ordering for the four of our ExpressCAREs. I gather patient demographic and insurance information along with any co-pays or payments for those without any insurance. Inform the clinical team of patients with possible serious conditions. I keep patients informed as they wait to be seen and provide comfort were possible. I answer many of the incoming calls to the ExpressCARE for all departments and take care of their needs. Lastly I help with keeping my locations schedule covered, calling in staff or filling in shifts when needed.

I collected patient information; where they live, phone numbers emergency contacts, insurances and co-pays. I called patients to get them pre-registered for appointments. I verified that the orders were present and that the insurance would accept the diagnosis codes the doctor used. I had to monitor fire alarm tests for the hospital and notify the fire department in case of false alarms.
