Qc Inspector
CurrentQuality control inspectors manage the project-specific quality control program, ensuring the highest level of project quality by implementing testing, inspections and reporting as required. While not supervising the work of others, they do oversee the work of trade contractor employees.Duties/Responsibilities:Oversees project construction for compliance with specifications, federal, state, local codes, and installation techniques.Coordinates the commissioning process.Performs QC inspections for all divisions on site and at vendors’ shops.Coordinates Owner training requirements.Coordinates QA/QC efforts with construction and engineering staff.Ensures QA/QC efforts are coordinated with the project schedule.Creates and/or reviews quality plans, commissioning plan, and submittals.Implements inspection plans and monitor progress.Documents all non-compliance issues and follows up with resolution data.Reports QA/QC progress; submits QA/QC monthly report to the Director of QA/QC.Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with customers, consultants, and contractors.Performs other duties and services to ensure projects are delivered successfully and client is satisfied.
