As a Graphic Designer, my main duty is to conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for marketing and promotional materials. This includes gathering relevant information and materials, planning and illustrating concepts, and obtaining approval for rough layouts. I am also responsible for preparing final layouts by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.In addition to creating designs, I also ensure the smooth operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs as needed. I may also coordinate with outside agencies and vendors, such as printers and art services, to complete projects.Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques, and do so by attending design meetings, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies. As a team player, I contribute to the team's efforts and achieve related results as needed.
