Engineering, startup, and troubleshooting of complete GE Fanuc PLC and supervisory software lines. Developed integrated PLC and supervisory software system solutions and proposals. Diagnosed existing plant networks; recommended and implemented hardware/software solutions. Developed creative and interactive customer demos. Created challenging labs for paid customer training classes; taught classes. Provided thorough presentations for product seminars; trained salesman. Assisted in specification of future products.Systems worked on include: Coke batteries, basic oxygen furnace, steel coil finishing, railroad yard switching, glass float line, gas line transmission, and lighting.

Troubleshooting and startup of PLC equipment and plant networks at Saturn Corporation. Lead engineer on plant-wide MAP implementation. Assisted Saturn engineers and equipment suppliers on proper specification, programming structure, and configuration of PLC equipment. Debugged PLC ladder logic, remote I/O networks, and MAP network programs. Developed labs for PLC training classes implemented on site. Assisted Saturn electricians and engineers in debug of various related hardware: robots, conveyors, tooling stations, drive systems, etc.Systems worked on include: Body fabrication, engine assembly, general assembly (trim and final), brake rotor inspection, power usage monitoring, water flow and level control.

Design, programming, installation, startup, debug, and service of completely automated PLC-based systems. Trained sales force and end users on entire GE Fanuc PLC line. Repaired PWM drives (sometimes involved in complete rebuild).
