I was part of the project team that developed the first IGP in 2013 and have been responsible for all subsequent updates as well as ensuring that the requirements outlined in the IGP continue to be met. Other responsibilities include managed fund, listed security and managed portfolio research across multiple asset classes covering the investment options offered across all BT menus. This research spans both initial approvals as well as a number of different ongoing monitoring approaches that ensure compliance with the IGP using both quantitative and qualitative research. This roll encompassed development of investment products for high net worth clients including both structured and alternative investments, as well as managed fund research across all asset classes and management of the recommended funds list. Other responsibilities included client meetings with a focus on communicating the investment proposition behind internally developed investment products as well as explaining managed fund investment styles and performance.

This role had responsibility for the product development, launch, promotion and product management of new managed funds and alternative investment products. These included a number of funds within the Macquarie Professional Series as well as institutional products such as unlisted infrastructure funds that were repackaged for distribution to retail clients.

Starting in the operations area of the Wrap Platform business I progressed to heading up this area as well as forming part of the management team of the broader business. I then moved into the product development area and was responsible for the development of new wrap structures, fund manager selection and monitoring as well as structured product development.
