Humphries Archery established December 2001 launched its first Franchised location in January 2015 in Pueblo Colorado. Franchisee Gene Ragulsky opened Humphries Archery's largest location expanding the name and territory into Colorado. This location follows suit with all 3 Utah locations offering a top notch pro shop, friendly knowledgeable staff, indoor shooting range, techno hunt and full archery academy range for novice to the professional archer! Gene Ragulsky retired from his former Police Officer career were he served the people of Pueblo for many years. We are excited for the Pueblo store and welcome them to the Humphries family.

Manage an effective team to cut down on deer inside cities! To help cut back on the growing population of deer destruction and vehicle incidence and to effectively execute a hunters feed the hungry program.After a 2 year pilot program and several hundred pounds of meat donated to family's in need, the pilot program reduced deer herds by nearly 50% and deer/vehicle collisions by 90% from 1 year prior to the program the pilot city had recorded 81 animals hit and removed from the side of city roads, 1 year later after the first year of the program that number took a dramatic reduction to 41 animals! And after completing the second year of the pilot program the number was an astonishing 6 animals! While deer still roam the city, and people still enjoy the occasional encounter of deer in their yards and parks! The residents of Highland have safer roads and less destruction to vegetation and gardens! And the specialists in the program logged over 800 hours in the field with no lost animals and no public involvement or news media. While providing several families with much needed meat for their freezers!UPDATE.... The Urban Deer Program has now grown to four of our Utah cities, Highland, Herriman, Provo, and Mapleton! Where I manage an effective team of specialists, who have qualified, trained and passed the UDC (urban deer control) testing! And have another three cites on date for 2017.

Host for the largest archery tour, traveling 5 states and interacting with thousands of archers through out the west! Hosting an indoor archery tournament with thousands of spectators... Building archery from state to state through manufactures who take the time to support local pro shops and credit the everyday archer who keep our great sport alive and growing!!

Served a full time mission in the Washington State Seattle mission, were I was given the opportunity to share my love for my savior and help others find peace not only in this life, but hope for what's to come!
