The core role was as the Vendor Manager for key strategic vendors within Verizon Business Group. I acquired and utilized vendor contract information, performance data, and financial data in order to provide deal renewal and negotiation strategies that would maximize YoY cost savings. In addition to these analytical responsibilities was the need for strategic recommendations to improve vendors holistically. I developed strategies for designated technology categories, lead Requests for Pricing (RFPs) to introduce competition, and delivered executive level presentations of strategies including hosting business reviews.Additional initiatives beyond my core role included facilitating a Vendor Assessment and Scorecard process for the Vendor Management organization, redesigning the Procure-to-Pay process for new products to enable P&L view, and standardization of professional services to improve speed to revenue.

I provided account management and vendor contract management supporting several enterprise customers by managing of vendor relationships, tracking vendor performance, and analyzing vendor financials as a member of several Project Management Offices (PMOs). On renewals or at the end of contracts, I negotiated savings to reduce year over year spend. This at times required working with Sourcing contacts to facilitate RFPs where alternative vendors were acceptable options to the teams I supported.For key vendors, I held Business Reviews of vendor services with internal and external stakeholders including vendor executives. These Business Reviews typically contained a review of the vendor's key contracts, an overview of key financial data, reported performance data, and a continual service improvement plan.For my team, I took lead on several internal team improvement initiatives, which included creating a business-case to evaluate the impact to core team metrics.

I facilitated a tutoring program for the Diversity Programs in Engineering office, which required me to interview, hire, and evaluate tutors for key Engineering courses. I improved organization and data retention by making information collection forms and feedback collection forms from students electronic. This also enable tracking of student satisfaction with their designated tutor and established accountability for tutors.

Worked under the Director of Operations and with a Sr. Business Analyst to compile and analyze data for executive level reports and operations review presentations. I would assume the duties of the Sr. Business Analyst in her absence through production of online reports and reminders.
