Completed two major projects that quantify high energy laser subsystems. Tasks included: - Determining and defining requirements from both the manager and the Optics team- Laying out the tasks to build the schedule- Ramping up and utilizing an Agile process using Jira and BitBucket- Communication and control of both motion control servos and optical sensors- A thin client GUI, developed in Qt (C++), was used to send commands from a client to the server application via UDP. The client also received graphical data from the server that was then displayed for monitoring and control.- A server was developed to interact with the various hardware components, sending commands and receiving data and status updates.

Software developer working on the Centralized Aviation Flight Records System (CAFRS) program. CAFRS is a database driven C# desktop application used by the US Army to manage the Army's aviation community's flight and training records. It is the program of record for the Army.As of 2019, we have a website that will become the program of record for the Army's Air Traffic Control community. This is a ASP.NET Core application using the MVC pattern with a SQL Server backend, via Entity Framework. This application currently manages the records and training for the controllers. The next release will add support for the records and training of the maintainers (of the various equipment types required for the controllers to operate).Currently, I am a developer on both. My other duties involve being responsible for the InstallShield installers for the desktop application, managing the DevOps (build, release, and deploy) for both programs via TFS 2017, and updating the in-house tools for managing the desktop application.

Helped develop several training packages in C# for various avionics and crypto devices inducing the ARC-231, the APX-123, and the SKL. Upgraded legacy software (C) for the T-BOS program to be used in two different trainers: a cockpit emergency procedures trainer at Ft. Rucker (CEPT) and an electrician and avionics trainer at Ft. Eustis (BHET). Developed, tracked, and maintained requirements using the 3SL Cradle software suite. Wrote various in-house applications to aid in getting the job done.Used Visual Studio 2010 to track down and fix memory leaks and bottlenecks.

Provided modeling and simulation support at JFCOM in Suffolk, VA. Developed upon JSAF (C/C++) and MARCI (Java 1.5). Worked on the RTI study which consisted of designing, developing, implementing, and running test procedures to look at functionality, throughput, latency, and general usability. Developed a Sql Server 2000 database with the various simulations mapped to the gaps in Joint training, with a C# front end.

Worked on an information resource for defining and creating/listing work arounds for the capabilities and limitations of tactical data links. Sql Server 2000 backend with a C# frontend. The website was on the SIPR. Also helped port the website to a stand alone version, to include installation and updates.
