As Account Manager, I transitioned from a back-of-house development operations & production focus into a client facing consulting and leadership role. As Manager of Development Services, I was charged with managing the organization's web & application development team resources, technology and culture. In this role I actively engaged in solution architecture and client services across many problem domains, industries and technology stacks. As manager, I was also acting code leader and SDLC advocate for the team, mapping out process, promoting efficiency & quality and stoking evolution in our coding practices and design/pattern usage. A hands-on role that required a balance of managerial, administrative and production activities.

As lead application developer I was responsible for planning, coding, debugging and deploying web based and desktop-based software in support of Appraisl.com NAN (Nationwide Appraisal Network) and DayOne Desktop suite of real-estate appraisal tools. These products were based heavily on Microsoft technologies and tapped into my proficiency for ASP Classic (vbScript), COM 32 based library creation and deployment (DLL-Hell), HTML/DHTML markup, CSS, JavaScript (server-side and client-side scripting), SQL/TSQL, XML,XSL, Postscript, C/C++, MFC, COM+ and .Net Framework (C#) Web forms and WSDL based Web Services.In small team environment I reported to a technical lead / project manager and executed independently on high level objectives as parsed and prioritized by the technical lead. From there I collaborated with development team members and internal business stakeholders to create and iterate on new product deliverables as well as servicing ad-hoc maintenance, support and updates to back-office tooling and applications.I also played a significant role in the management and scale out of inhouse internet and web infrastructure platforms and technology. This environment was responsible for hosting critical components to Appriasl.com software and service offerings and consisted of instances of Windows OS, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, ARC GIS Sever and Active Directory stacks providing DEV, STAGE and PROD environments. IBM e-Server series hardware and SCSI/fiber channel-based disk and DLT tape storage solutions in physical rack mounted and environmentally controlled data center. It also contained IOS based Cisco firewall & routers, Redundant Adtran DSU/CSUs and Ethernet switching configurations/VLANS for internal VOIP, FAX and data routing.
