Supervising Disaster Case management for those affected by the 2022 Tornados in Seminole, OK and the 2023 Tornados in the Norman and Shawnee areas

I have the pleasure of raising awareness, providing resources and assisting in training of Catholic Charities' 16 programs to more than 100 churches and communities in central and western Oklahoma. I also assist in coordinating archdiocesan events, such as the Martin Luther King Day celebration and Catholic Advocacy Day. Through those efforts and working on fundraising events, I help Catholic Charities stay attuned to the needs of communities throughout central and western Oklahoma. Catholic Charities serves all persons with no restrictions based on income, ethnicity, or religious preference.

As the Self-Advocacy Partners Coordinator at the Center for Learning and Leadership, I coordinated the activities of the Oklahoma Self-Advocacy Network (OKSAN), a statewide network for people with disabilities, their family members, and professionals who support them. In October 2014, I co-coordinated the a national conference for more than 700 people with disabilities and professionals in Oklahoma City. I worked with people disabilities to train others with disabilities in advocacy, leadership and how to be effective partners in their communities.

At the Dale Rogers' Training Center I changed the perception about the abilities of people with developmental disabilities and promoted their capabilities through social media, press releases to publications in the Oklahoma City area. Producing inter-agency publications and writing feature stories on individuals with disabilities bolstered their opportunities for promotions and hourly rate increases. Representing the agency at events, I was able to promote the individuals' abilities, which encouraged more individuals and businesses to contract with and buy products from the agency.

• Wrote the copyright to update the Web site for Peacock Gap Golf Course in San Francisco • Researched and assisted in the production of a media kit for Hawker-Beechcraft, an airline corporation in Wichita, Kansas • Received a byline for an article in the Indian Gaming Magazine about the new golf course at Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

• Coordinated speakers, prepared schedules, and assisted delegates in day to day activities in the 2006 Oklahoma Youth Leadership Forum, a leadership camp for high school students with disabilities • Reviewed applications and interviewed the 25 delegates for the 2007 Oklahoma Youth Leadership Forum• Updated the directory for 35 board members of the Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Council
