Current• I am the only technician on site over the last 4 years.• Responsible for installing, maintaining, monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of data center equipment.• Plan, direct and coordinate daily activities for the Data Center, project or team depending on the task or business need.• Lead a team of engineers and technicians and play a proactive role in identifying best practices to Data Center Management.• IT proficiency includes knowledge of hardware, operating and networking systems.Accomplishments:• Through proprietary support ticketing system process tickets with an overall accuracy rate of 100% • Saved company over $200,000 by refurbishing used hardware and technological equipment• Diagnosed hardware failures and resolved technical issues with a 95% success rate.• Ensure compliance with standard data center operating procedures with an accuracy rate of 100%• Handle racking and unracking of servers and blade enclosures for 42 projects in the past 3 years.• Manage many system upgrades, enhancements, migrations, integrations to QA, Production and DRBC environments.• Successfully minimized server downtime to 2%• Perform firmware and driver update for servers in the data center including HP and Dell.• Project Lead on teams in planning, designing and implementing complex subsystems.• Primarily work on HP and Dell machines running Windows operating systems.• On call 24/7 based on schedule rotation.
