I supported parental leaves for two roles within Zendesk's Talent & Organization Development team: Senior Manager of Leadership Development and Director of Organizational Development. This role worked across change management, org design, leadership development, and more. My work in leadership development spanned program planning & execution, including regular learning sprints focused on specific topics and internal programming for people leaders and under-represented talent. I was also responsible for oversight of external leadership development partnerships with our third-party suppliers. On the change management side, I was responsible for leading, designing, and implementing change programs in support of the People & Places and Digital-First portfolios, coaching and upskilling our People & Places team members on effective practices and tools to lead change, and developing change and communications strategies that resonate within our teams.

In this role, I was responsible for coaching leaders at Meraki and designing, developing, and piloting solutions targeted at impacting key talent opportunities (e.g., manager training, facilitating effective meetings). Previously, I established and grew Meraki’s first centralized organization-wide Leadership Development function, setting the Leadership Development vision and strategy for six offices and more than 2,250 team members around the world. I focused the team on simplifying how leaders invest in meaningful careers by creating predictable learning budgets, elevated leadership skills through sold-out training and top-rated facilitation, and catalyzed leadership’s maturity in talent development and planning. I led the effort to define, articulate, socialize and launch Meraki’s essential skills model.

I wore many hats with Linkage: consultant, facilitator, trainer, coach, and instructional designer. I partnered with clients to create a vision for the future and a strategy to get there. One client brought me in to assess the barriers women saw to advancement at their company. I collaborated with another to define their organization's core values. For a third, I developed and facilitated a leadership journey for director-level leaders. I drove innovation and strategy within Linkage's Advancing Women and Inclusion practice. This includes being the originator of the company's content on sponsorship. Additionally, I contributed to Linkage's content on change management and systems thinking.

As Assistant Director of Advancement at Brandeis Hillel Day School, my core work was ensuring the success of the Annual Fund. This means that my role was to define and implement a strategy to raise $500k annually. Our strategy included hosting fundraising and community-building events, conducting direct mail campaigns, leveraging a dedicated volunteer network, launching an alumni campaign, and overhauling our use of technology. I led a small team of three employees and partnered with 100+ volunteers annually across both campuses.
