Brian Grove is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications segment based in Houston. He also is a part of the segment’s Energy & Natural Resources industry practice. With more than two decades of policy, public affairs and media relations experience with a strong focus on energy and conservation-related issues – Mr. Grove has managed a diverse set of legislative, regulatory and reputational challenges, both in government and the private sector. In the energy sector, Mr. Grove led Chesapeake Energy’s regional public affairs and market entry efforts across northern Pennsylvania from the initial stages of the company’s development program, where his responsibilities included crisis management, stakeholder engagement and media relations among others. Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Grove served as Deputy Secretary of Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, where he was responsible for the budget, personnel and information technology resources for the agency’s 1,300 staff managing 2.4 million acres of public land. Additionally, Mr. Grove has served in several other executive roles for three Pennsylvania governors, as Chief Of Staff in the state senate, and has worked on national, statewide and local political campaigns
