My career has revolved around creative, yet pragmatic, problem solving. With more than 25 years of experience, delivering real solutions at more than 30 companies in multiple industries and functional areas, these skills have been challenged and expanded in many ways. Those challenges are what continues to drive my passion and focus every day. The organizations I have supported have ranged from Fortune 100, to growth organizations of $20M. I have managed teams of more than 50, and as small as 2, with a solid leadership approach built around this passion to solve problems AND also have fun with the job. My formal training and certifications include PMP, Master Lean Leader, Six-Sigma Black Belt, and a host of other improvement and deployment methodologies. I have utilized all or parts of them, when and where each team or project called for it (with both successes and hard-fought lessons learned). I am now focusing my energy around developing pragmatic approaches in combining continuous improvement, analytics, data visualization methods, and project management concepts like Lean startup (e.g. FastWorks) to solve problems faster, with more predictable results.
