Responsible for: - Manage personnel to meet exterior requirments from higher headquarters.- Manage personnel to ensure the proper personnel assignments and skill sets are met for operational requirements.- Liason with higher headquarters and other external agencies for the accomplishment of unit requirements. - Ensure proper manning levels are met for unit deployment requirements.- Assist in developing unit level policies and procedures to enforce proper maintenance practice are followed.- Provide information and recommendations to the Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Commanding Officer as needed.- Address any and all human resource related issues within the maintenance department.- Provide training and mentorship to all of the Marines within the maintenance department.- Identify and provide all training requirements to ensure the maintenance department is providing safe aircraft for the squadron's flight schedule and the advancement of the individual Marine within the department.
