• Led a team of 9 Engineers in the development of a diesel-electric hybrid 21-passenger bus for the U.S. government• Designed a two-input, speed-reducing transfer case capable of transmitting 170 kW peak power and 560 Nm peak torque• Led a team of 6 Engineers in the development of a 100 kW diesel-electric generator for use in a New York City bus• Designed and packaged suspension components for various electric vehicles, including extensive analysis of metal to composite bonding and dynamic vehicle performance• Developed a spreadsheet based vehicle performance simulation which utilized torque curves, efficiency maps, and numerous vehicle parameters to model vehicle acceleration, steady state range, energy usage, and range on various driving cycles

• Developed the manufacturing process for the 1997 Econoline door trim panel assembly line, including process flow, equipment layout, and personnel allocation• Coordinated the modernization of an automated high-volume thermoforming machine, including design, selection, and purchasing of replacement components, scheduling and supervision of outside and union labor, and management of a $500k budget• Established and led a cross-functional preventative maintenance team that significantly reduced downtime on 6 thermoforming machines
