I love to code, learn new technologies and solve problems.Before I had ever written my first line the idea of making a computer do something and understanding how to make it follow your commands excited me. I remember sitting in my bedroom at an old computer my dad had fixed up for me and writing a small HTML page. When I opened it up in the browser and the words I had typed into a simple header tag showed up I was hooked. Learning new things is one of the biggest excitements I get from being a programmer. I feel that there is so much to learn, and even as an expert in a specific technology you never truly know everything, so this field is perfect for me. In my free time when I am not spending time with my new wife I am either taking online courses to learn new technologies or working on my Xamarin mobile app I created to use at the gym (maybe I do this a bit more than she would like). To me, learning comes in second only to the thrill of solving a problem. Nothing is more rewarding than troubleshooting an issue and finally getting that breakthrough or running your new piece of code and seeing it work flawlessly (until it gets to QA of course, it always works on my machine!). I still get that excited and prideful feeling that I got looking at the simple HTML page every time I make something new, even after 6 years in the field and 4 years of college. I know that I always will.
