As Chief of Staff for CORE Districts, Brigitte is focused on the success of all, in service of the strategic objectives of the organization. It is her responsibility to ensure access to high quality effective communication and to support communication flow throughout CORE. Brigitte is charged with creating and sustaining cross-departmental relationships to enable optimum organizational effectiveness. While the overall responsibilities of this role are focused on building bridges, empowering others and positioning them to do their best work, the job also calls for meeting and event preparation, project management and strategic planning.

SEEDS Community Resolution Center is a 510(c)(3) nonprofit community-based organization that has been providing mediation, facilitation, training, and restorative justice to residents, organizations, and schools in the Bay Area since 1983. SEEDS views conflict as an opportunity for positive growth and transformation in our society. We envision a future in which all individuals and communities have the skills and capacity to engage in effective dialogue and promote peaceful resolution of issues and conflicts. I serve on the SEEDS panel of mediators who have been trained in communication and conflict resolution skills, in support of dispute resolution between neighbors, friends, families, landlords and tenants, those in business relationships, and court litigants. As a SEEDS Affiliate Facilitator, I help to guide organizations and groups in their deliberation and decision-making processes and in the convening of forums and dialogues around issues and problems that have serious impacts in our neighborhoods and communities. I also work in support of SEEDS' commitment to provide training on restorative practices for individuals, schools, and other organizations. The focus is on creating a safe space that enables the restoration of relationships and community healing through dialogue.

In this role, Brigitte supports the development of effective, relational school processes and systems. Her work helps schools to build community and intentional, responsive relationships that can be restored when conflict and harm occur. The intent is to position educators to be able to do their best work in service of young people. Brigitte leads a team that provides facilitation, coaching and training in aspects of relational school systems that include transition management, interest-based decision making, team building, customer service, feedback and engagement. To support restorative school practices and the pursuit of Restorative Justice for students, the team provides facilitation, coaching and training in community building, conflict resolution, restorative inquiry, verbal de-escalation, harm repair, relationship restoration and positive school culture and climate development.
