I am a Dance and Group Fitness Instructor located in Atlanta, Georgia. I am currently a Dance Instructor and Care Coordinator at Atlanta Dance Central, a Mobile Dance Instructor for Creative Movement and Dance, and a Trainer at AKT Perimeter. I have experience teaching ages 3-70 in dance and fitness. I have worked in multiple studios as well as school settings. I am passionate about cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that challenges my students as well ignites a love for dance. I posses a well-rounded dance background and specialize in precision jazz and conditioning, but also teach ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and acro. I have experience teaching students with with varying skill levels and abilities. My role as the Care Coordinator at ADC includes running the studio’s social media accounts and cultivating the individual client experience. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Georgia with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Political Science. In the summer of 2021 I interned for Joffrey Ballet School as an Administrative Assistant and Residential Advisor for the South, Texas, and Colorado programs. This allowed me to build upon my communication, organization, and team work skills. At UGA I was extremely involved in the Dance Department and have performed and choreographed in multiple shows. I have also been involved in community outreach and leadership through UGA's organizations, including serving as the Officer of Sustainability for my sorority and creating a lasting environmental legacy, and leading a fundraising team and serving as a mentor for UGA HEROs. My diverse college experience and work experience has allowed me to to develop a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a desire to help others. I am a positive people-person and thrive in fast-paced environments.
