Even though I’ve been told that I should’ve been a professional comedian, my career has focused on the business of food. I’m a chef, consultant, and entrepreneur. I’m proud of founding and facilitating the sale of my staffing company and helping people run more efficient and profitable restaurants. To help more people and bring peace to CEOs and business leaders, I became a Chair at Vistage, the world’s leading peer advisory coaching organization. I facilitate monthly meetings of successful CEOs, business owners and key executives in an atmosphere of trust, support and encouragement. Executives who have been carrying the burden of having to know all of the answers can finally let down their guard, share their most pressing issues and benefit from the wisdom of their peers who have faced and overcome similar challenges. We accomplish a great deal in our meetings, but we also have fun. I live by the mantra, “Be brave enough to suck at something new every day.” Take on new challenges and enjoy the process while continuously improving. I also make it a point to stop talking myself out of things and start talking myself into things. It has worked well so far. In my spare time, I teach cooking to students with special needs. I play guitar, read a lot, and love art in all forms. I’m searching for business owners and executives who are passionate about becoming better leaders and growing their businesses. Connect with me at bruce.knight@vistagechair.com and let’s talk about your future.
