We were just a few months into the pandemic here in the US. I was without a job and taking some time off to figure out what's next.I started drawing again during this time after a multi-decade break. My drawing was initially intended to simply cure my boredom. It ended up reigniting a passion and forcing me to write a new story for my life. A story that, perhaps, will allow me to be the type of hero of my journey that fits who and what I want to be.So, I will reintroduce myself to all of you today as an artist and the owner of 22nd & Olive. My company's mission is to inspire joy and laughter. My company's purpose is to honor the memory of my Mom. My business model is simple. Design collections around a charitable concept and split profits with charity partners. You can find us at 22olive.com. 22nd & Olive launches its first collection today - February 1, 2022. The collection is a line of animal-themed greeting cards to benefit animal safety and rescue organizations. The collection is titled Paws for Effect.
