Bryan Harris has spent more than 40 years in the marketing communications industry and has inspired a generation of professionals with his insight, strategic counsel and thought leadership. He joined Taylor in 1989 and led accounts for global brands such as Bristol-Myers, GSK, Gillette, MasterCard, Pitney Bowes, and Panini. From 2004-2023, Bryan served as Taylor's Chief Operating Officer/Managing Partner. During a period of significant growth and evolution for Taylor, he oversaw the transformation of the agency’s core operating functions. He also managed agency marketing and played a key role in business development. Today, he remains a shareholder and senior consultant to Taylor.An early-stage investor through his company, Ocean State Ventures, Bryan serves as an investor/advisor to a number of emerging companies in health and wellness, food service, media, and AI, among others. From 2013-2016, Bryan was a director and treasurer for the PR Council and was founder and co-chair of the Council’s COO Group, a peer network of senior ops executives at leading PR agencies. He was also active with the March of Dimes for almost 30 years, serving as the longtime public relations chair of its annual sports luncheon. Prior to Taylor, Bryan spent five years helping launch and grow sports boutique agency, Mike Cohen Communications. Working at the side of his mentor, legendary PR executive Mike Cohen, he ran day to day operations for the business while managing accounts for leading media brands, broadcasters and sports promoters.Bryan graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was an award-winning sports editor/columnist for The Daily Pennsylvanian. His devotion to his alma mater remains as evidenced by his ongoing efforts as a donor, philanthropist, and mentor across the Penn community. He serves on the Director’s Council of the renowned Penn Museum and provides support for the its conservation department. For The Daily Pennsylvanian, he provides counsel and mentorship as chair of its Strategic Business Advisory Board. His loyalty to Penn Athletics is manifested by his support of the nationally ranked wrestling program.Inspired by his love of the arts, Bryan has been a supporter\advisor to Garner Arts Center in Rockland County, NY, where he grew up. Building on the legacy of his father, Ned Harris, who had a major artistic influence throughout the Lower Hudson Valley, Bryan helped launch the Ned Harris Education Studio at Garner and provides donor support for its Gallery 35 space.
