I am a graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a BA in Mathematics and a focus on statistics. I started my career in January 2021 as the AP Processor for Breckenridge Grand Vacations, and quickly proved to be an extremely valued member of the accounting team. Having successfully trained a total of 4 employees in my time here, I have been able to pursue new tasks and placed a stronger focus on the staff accountant side of my role. Breckenridge Grand Vacations is a property management & property development company primarily dealing with timeshare HOAs. In day to day work we operate between 9 unique, entirely separate entities.As the AP Lead, I am overseeing (but not directly managing) two other AP Processors, and am responsible for high level process improvements, trainings, problem resolution, and maintenance of AP software & platforms. I am also responsible for staff accountant duties within our HOA management area, including reconciliations and monthly billing files for HOA dues.I have used my new role to continue improving the "PreferPay" process I built. The spreadsheet has been immensely streamlined to entirely eliminate the need for manual data validation, favoring Excel formulas to capture all potential situations. I am leading quarterly trainings on our AP Invoicing platform, Corcentric. This serves to provide a general refresher on best practices. I also set up one-on-one or small group trainings for new employees who have not used the platform before.My new role includes duties of our Staff Accountants, notably account reconciliations. I am responsible for the reconciliation of our HOA Dues bank account, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded. We are the second largest hospitality business in Summit County, and as such our HOA Billing is immense. Along with reconciling the Dues accounts, I am also responsible for creating and submitting the HOA Billing file, requiring extreme attention to detail to ensure no owner is over- or under-billed. As we have over a thousand units each fractionally broken into 52 individual inventory units, ownership changes frequently and staying on top of current ownership is paramount.

Breckenridge Grand Vacations is a property management & property development company primarily dealing with timeshare HOAs. In day to day work we operate between 9 unique, entirely separate entities.As the AP Processor, I was responsible for the general day to day AP duties - processing payments, doing check runs, setting up new vendors, resolving missed payments, and generally maintaining vendor relationships. Our ERP is Sage 100 2019.I implemented a new process using "PreferPay". We used to manually cut and mail 300-400 'rental income' checks to vendors monthly - I lead and implemented a process that allowed us to transition to electronic payments, completely eliminating ~32 man-hours of work each month manually processing checks (two people, two full days).I attended the annual IOFM APP2P Accounts Payable Conference and received my APS Certification.When I started, there were 3 AP employees. One was transitioning to a new role, and the other was let go shortly after. I ran our two person department alone for roughly 6 months. After we hired new employees, I was solely responsible for training our 3 new team members. This was an exceptional experience, as training new employees can be extremely difficult.
