I am a recent graduate from Penn State with a B.Sc. in Chemistry. For 3 of my 4 years at PSU I worked in an analytical research lab, spending Summers 2022 and 2023 on campus working on my research project titled Investigating Microplastic Content in the Susquehanna River. I was the sole researcher on this project and successfully defended my thesis on it to earn a Science Research Distinction Certificate. My main interests lie in the overlap between environmental and analytical chemistry, and how chromatography and spectroscopy techniques can be used to better understand the state of our environment.
