I have worked in the Financial Services industry for over 11 years and, after joining Whichers IFA Ltd in 2004, initially as a Paraplanner, I quickly progressed to become a fully qualified IFA. Taking this route has allowed me to gather knowledge and experience from both sides of the sales process, which I have found extremely beneficial and allows me to stay in the loop with my clients at all times.Whichers IFA Ltd is a privately owned firm founded by Sidney Whicher is 1965 and, on his retirement in 1984, succeeded by his daughter, Diane. Sidney’s son, Robert, joined the company soon after and Whichers expanded further to include David Evans and then myself. At Whichers we pride ourselves on providing a very personal service, which is essential as generating new clients is mostly through referrals and recommendations.I have completed my Diploma in Financial Services, allowing me to continue working as an IFA following the Retail Distribution Review.
