Hi, I'm David 👋 I work as a software engineer and have a background in economics and policy. Outside of work, I pursue passion projects.—👨💻 I work as a software engineer at Octopus Deploy, where I help to build their continuous delivery and deployment automation tool for software teams. Through my work at Octopus, I've also been supported to make open-source contributions to Argo CD. Before that, I worked at the Melbourne office of Bukalapak, an Indonesian unicorn ecommerce company.📊 Before entering tech, I worked as a strategy analyst at Accenture Strategy – Economic Insights. The Economic Insights team brings together strategy, economics and data science to help public and private sector organisations solve policy and market problems. Prior to that, I worked as a copyeditor for the economics and foreign affairs publication East Asia Forum, an initiative based out of the Crawford School of Public Policy.📚 I studied economics and mathematics at the Australian National University, with the top grade in my economics honours cohort.
