I support experimental scientists at gRED/Genentech with computational analysis. My research is currently focused on airway disease using single cell sequencing.

I use computational and statistical methods to develop solutions that answer complex -omics data challenges while engaging with partner scientists at gRED/Genentech.Currently exploring single-cell sequencing techniques and lung disease.

I explore the human gut microbiome using metaproteomics. I use advanced statistical methods to analyze big data to make inferences and suggestions for future work. I am currently focussing on using various machine learning techniques to better understand complex patterns in metaproteomic data. I also create user-friendly web applications for sophisticated statistical analyses. I am passionate about scientific communication including effective data visualization and scientific outreach.

This position involved sampling and testing Ontario strawberries for multiple viruses. I interacted with farmers and maintained relationships, and also worked in the lab to create a virus detection protocol via PCR. I presented the research to OMAFRA and contributed to a tool for use by farmers for virus identification.
