My name is Caleb Downs, and I am looking for work as a graphic designer, artist, video editor, and/or content producer. I have been doing graphic art for the better part of the last 8 years, and I am very comfortable with Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint. I have some experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign as well. I have edited my own YouTube videos for almost a decade now, so I am also very familiar with the Vegas Pro video editing software, and I do have experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Using said Vegas software, drawing in Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop, I have made many short animated introductions with motion graphics. I am extremely patient, diligent, compassionate, a team player and I am always willing to learn whatever is needed of me. I work quickly and efficiently and like to complete tasks all at once, but I am very receptive to constructive feedback.My experience in graphic design is self-taught freelance work, as I have made graphic packages, logos, layouts and animated intros for series on YouTube for my own channel and series or for those of friends and/or independent clients. I have only had one graphic design class in my years of schooling, during my freshman year at Baker University. Most of what I know about Photoshop - and everything I know about Clip Studio Paint - was self taught, and so the vast majority of what we went over in class I had previously learned by experimenting in the program by myself. I am also working as an artist on a fan-made Pokémon game one of my internet friends began working on and asked me to be a part of two years ago where I have designed custom Pokémon. Alongside this, I dabble in character design, where I have created and drawn several characters from scratch for use in Dungeons and Dragons. I double majored in both Visual Art and French while at the University of Kansas, graduating after the spring 2022 semester. With my Art major, I have also taken many art history classes, expanding my breadth and depth of knowledge about historic and modern art.
