Candice Thibodeaux is a training event specialist at Upstream USA. She is an organizational leader, collaborator, business strategist, and advocate for underserved communities. She attended Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia and Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, with a focus in politics and business. Candice believes in Upstream’s mission, empowering women to decide when and if they want to become pregnant, a critical step toward improving the quality of life for families and society. She is an active leader in a young women and girls advocacy program, Reaching into Self Esteem, where she provides ideas and implementation for program agendas. Candice is a founding leader of Forbes The Culture Boston, a Forbes under 30 community, where she provides overall strategic direction in their efforts to increase professional opportunities for underrepresented minorities, (30 under 30 list makers and other entrepreneurs and professionals), in the Boston area. In her spare time, Candice is a self-care and travel enthusiast- always seeking new experiences and spending time with loved ones. She also enjoys reading about business, self help, and psychology.
