As a successful instructor, I prioritize learning engagement, regardless of learners’ ages. Using educational technology, I can effectively apply data-driven practices which improve retention and encourage participants to set their own goals. Seeing them grow in confidence propels me forward as a professional within the learning and development field.Along the way, I also create and modify curriculum, ensuring lesson plans meet each person where they are, then pave a way forward to growing in knowledge and skills.With this as my foundation, I’m excited about using my background to pursue new opportunities within learning and development, human resources, and ed-tech.

  I took this position to begin my career and have found my love for instruction is broader than being an in-class academic educator. However, this invaluable experience has given me a basis for growing in my capabilities, engaging in additional professional development, in pursuit of building a thriving career.Across my tenure here, I have held various positions in leadership, including team leader, organizational improvement, and lead instructor. With my academically and intellectually gifted credential, I am qualified to work with special needs learners to adapt instruction and curriculum so it better addresses neurodivergent approaches.A love for ed tech (and an emphasis on virtual learning) has prompted me to independently learn new programs and delivery systems. What do I love most? When I can see my learning participant clients grow from a place where they don’t feel strong to having confidence and self-efficacy. Increasing my usage of educational technology has had a direct impact on learning engagement.
