Act as the liaison between the Workforce Development Board and Contractor staff performing one-stop operator and programmatic activitiesResponsible for reporting program status and compliance issues to Workforce Solutions Borderplex Board Members. Review, evaluate and ensure state and federal contracts are maintained.Budgeted and planned program activities with contractor staff and report to state agency for compliance purposes. Reviewed state and federal contracts for compliance and proper execution.

Program Management related to workforce development and economic development.

* Provided leadership to committees overseeing education and workforce development, each comprised of volunteer members and community stakeholders.* Responsible for developing and maintaining working relationships with local elected leaders, staff, and community leaders related to education, workforce development, and healthcare.* Monitored legislation, policy issues and potential issues affecting the Chamber and the El Paso community through state and federal digests, newspapers and periodicals, and regular contact with legislators and their staffs.

* Assistant to City Council Representative Steve Ortega District 7 & Susie Byrd District 2* Provided City Council members general support and assistance on administrative matters and special programs or projects initiated by City Council members including travel arrangements.* Performed investigative and analytical work in researching administrative systems, policies and practices. Lead other special projects as directed by Council Representatives.* Attended and participated in meetings and community functions to represent the district as authorized. Create and distribute e-newsletters and provide quality constituency service.* Prepared and presented reports containing results of investigations and recommendations for meetings, speeches and correspondence.* Established and maintained special and close working relationships with City department staff, neighborhood association members, board and commission members and other affiliated organizations to the City of El Paso.
