I lead Bibles studies, disciple a small group of students, and reach out to the community & campus. This position is a cooperative partnership with the Southwestern Ohio District Church of the Nazarene. IWU has four education centers in the Cincinnati/Dayton area. In the Fall of 2008 I began facilitatingPhilosophy and Bible classes which meet 4 hours/week for 5 weeks. As of December 2011, I havefacilitated nearly 60 workshops/classes.

I spent about 12 of those years as a youth pastor at 3 different Nazarene Churches and was a worship pastor at 2 churches for the other 3-4 years.

While I was still a youth pastor in Columbus, Oh...I became a part-time barista in order to get health insurance. I fell in love with coffee and the third place environment. I climbed up the ladder so to speak but then realized coffee was just to be a passion and hobby, not my main thing. I continue to hone my skills and coffee knowledge as a barista and use it as a tool in my current ministry context.

Responsible for Administration and Implementation of all Youth Ministry programming. Organized an effective volunteer staff of about twenty youth workers including one part-time paid youth pastor and an administrative assistant. Partially responsible for leading times of corporate celebration and worship. Prepared music and directed rehearsal with praise team for at least two weeks each month.

Christian MDiv programs generally include studies in Christian ministry and theology. Coursework usually includes studies in New Testament Greek, theology, philosophy, church history, pastoral theology, Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), and New Testament studies. Many programs also contain courses in church growth, ecclesiology, evangelism, systematic theology, Christian education, liturgical studies, Latin, Hebrew, canon law, and patristics. The degree may or may not include a thesis.

Led a congregation in weekly worship experiences while overseeing the youth ministry programming and staff at the church.
