During my summer internship with Deloitte I worked on vendor management for a client, market research and analysis, and helped coordinate an executive committee meeting for a client.

I worked as the head of a 16 person team of Information Technology (IT) soldiers. I oversee the maintenance and accountability of all army communications systems in a 500 person organization, valued in excess of $3M. I established a weekly leadership professional development program to provide opportunities for improvement to junior leaders. In my current role I coordinate communications jointly between both Army and Civilian authorities, and enable the operations section of the battalion to plan missions across the United States. I enjoy accomplishing challenging objectives and leading my team to success.

I served as a Battery Executive Officer (XO) and second in command of for an artillery battery, a 100 person department within an artillery battalion. I eliminated $100,000 of excess property owned by the department, reducing waste and increasing efficiency. I was the leader of a 20 person team that handled all the support functions in the department. This included supply, maintenance, and communications systems. I provided feedback and regular evaluations to the leads of these sections and helped guide their efforts to better support the artillery battery. I focused on maintenance and during my time as XO, our department consistently had the highest number of fully mission capable howitzers within the entire organization.

I served as a Fire Support Officer (FSO) in a Cavalry Troop. In a department of 100 soldier's, I led a 3 person team as an advisor the the maneuver commander, and planner of indirect fires. This included cannons, missiles, mortars, and close air support. I was also responsible for ensuring fire support coordination measures were in place to avoid fratricide due to inaccurate locations or miscommunication.
