About Celia Evans

I am a software engineering student at the University of Waterloo. My next CO-OP work term is starting Summer 2025.Outside of my work life, I am the VP Communications for the University of Waterloo Engineering Society, and I am a varsity athlete on the University of Waterloo curling team. I recently Skipped the UW Women's Curling Team to a USports Silver Medal at the end of our 2023-24 season.My first CO-OP term was with DFN Freight Exchange Co. as a QA engineer, where I automated front-end tests using Cypress, created back-end tests using vREST NG and documented manual tests once per sprint.My second COOP term was spent with Interaptix Inc. doing software QA/QC. I tested both the web portal as well as the iOS app. On top of that, I am contributing to data collection regarding video scanning techniques in order to produce the highest quality 3D models. I've also been working with MS Power Automate and Cypress to automate standard documents and test cases.My current COOP term is with RideCo and so far so good!
