Radio System Administrator
CurrentAdminister and manage the DaneCom interoperable P25 voice radio communications system.System Adminstration: Prepare and monitor annual system budget.Coordinate billing and payments.Monitor vendor contracts.Maintain FCC licensing and notifications.Maintain current and comprehensive files related to DaneCom.Staff committees or other bodies established in relation to DaneCom.Define and prioritize program goals and objectives, evaluate activities to ensure program goals and objectives are met, and identify alternative solutions in meeting program objectives.Produce and analyze system operation and usage reports.Develop systems to apportion operations and maintenance costs as established by the Governing Board.Produce and analyze program data and reports in evaluating degree of success in meeting objectives.Approve and monitor purchases.Document significant expenses outside the DaneCom budget.Maintain talkgroup, radio ID, user list and related databases.Establish and maintain system security measures. System Operations: Ensure the efficient availability and use of DaneCom by developing and coordinating policies and procedures, monitoring system use locally and through vendor monitoring center.Interpret and clarify program guidelines and policies.Ensure compliance with federal and other applicable regulations.System Maintenance:Coordinate and monitor activities of vendor, County and other party support of DaneCom and subsystems.Participate in diagnosis of performance problems and development of corrective action recommendations. Project Management:Develop project plans related to the DaneCom radio system.Manage project risk.Manage project schedule.Manage project budget.Manage project risks. User Outreach and Training Write and present reports indicating success of significant program activities.Develop and make available appropriate system user and other stakeholder training.
