 Leads a team of 8 engineers in planning, scheduling, and executing a segment level modal test forqualification of a launch and space vehicle. Develops segment level test and integration plans in accordance with requirements from the DOORSdatabase and SMC-S-016. Considered team lead in model-based systems engineering and Agile principles and led the effort tointegrate CAMEO and JIRA within our team. Interfaces with integration and test teams at the element levels to develop a vehicle level test plan andproof out concept integration activities. Performs site surveys of current testing and manufacturing facilities, as well as providing input todesign reviews of planned facilities. Responsible for logistics such as scheduling, engaging potential suppliers, performing technical tradestudies, and reporting to management and the customer. Routinely called upon to join working groups and collaborate with other engineering disciplines tosolve complex design, manufacturing, budget, and scheduling problems

- Design, build, and maintain test equipment used to evaluate submarine systems including large scale hydraulics, solenoid valves, steam powered turbine generators and propulsion engines.- Develop test schedules, requirements and procedures, with hands-on experience utilizing flow meters, thermocouples, leak detection devices, voltmeter, pressure gauges, and strip chart recorders.- Interfaces with management, vendors, and shop technicians to establish timelines, assign responsibility, and schedule project milestones. Routinely solves problems in a timely manner utilizing independent analytical skill sets and team-based collaborations.- Assist in the development of work instructions and troubleshooting guides as well as document lessons learned to improve on quality control.- Normally works extended hours and weekends and has received performance incentive awards for multiple projects completing early and under budget.- Lead multiple teams in the demanding environment of submarine sea trials testing, utilizing teamwork capabilities and communicating needs and demands in an effective manner.- Trains 3-4 employees each year in testing procedures, and knowledge of complex submarine systems.

- Utilized SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create 3D drawings of sophisticated soil testing equipment and provided engineering support to manufacturing with an emphasis in product quality.- Involved in entire design process of small support parts to improve functionality of soil testing equipment. - Performed load calculations and failure analysis of support parts.- Assisted in the design of synthetic dirt to improve the safety of horseracing.
