I've worked in many different industries before landing in sheet metal fabrication. I worked in almost all positions starting out as a laser assistant, into machining, welding, assembly, among others, and ending as Press Brake Lead before moving into the office. When I moved into the office I began as an estimator, I also filled roles as Customer Representative, government estimating, scheduling, purchasing, quality, managing our ERP system and eventually getting into the IT side of things. At the end of my tenure working in fabrication, I was in charge of IT and our ERP system. One of my biggest achievements during this time was implementing a paper-reduced shop floor environment back in 2008/09. Electronic drawings on the floor, electronic inspections, move tickets, etc.I very much enjoy solving problems, one of my favorite games is Sudoku for this reason. This really lent itself well to the press brake. At that time, we did fully online programming. One of my favorite things in my entire career was getting a complex part that needed to have a program made for it. What order do the bends need to be performed in? What tooling will I need to get the different radiuses? Adding or removing material to the bend lengths to get it just right, that process will always hold a special place in my heart.When I moved to MIE Solutions I started as a Solutions Consultant. That involved working with customers to develop standard operating procedures, training on-site, going live with customers as well as ongoing training. These provided new problems to solve as well as letting me see a new window into how other manufacturers perform processes that may have been different angles of attack than what I had seen previously, as well as new industries.I then moved into Sales, as Technical Director of Sales, for customer or prospect facing activities I performed detailed analysis and presentation of MIE Trak Pro as well as find customers that fit well with and solve their evolving problems.I began working with High QA in January 2023. This transition began through a prospect when in sales at MIE. This prospect inquired about an integration with High QA. I began a dialog with the leadership at High QA to facilitate this process which ultimately led to a successful integration and me eventually coming over. In my personal time, I enjoy riding ATVs with my son and friends as well as some video gaming, hiking with my wife (when we get out and aren't too lazy), or playing with my dogs.
