Managed & planned the construction, opening and operations of a new sales office in Atlanta for Deltacom. Successfully recruited an award winning sales team, engineering staff and support group. My responsibilities included but were not limited to recruitment of sales personnel, training and development, managing service issues, sales forecasting and budget management.

Recruited to rebuild Atlanta sales team. Recruited, hired and managed the #1 sales team in the Southeast for Allegiance Telecom. As one of the first managers hired in the company I personally negotiated service agreements with such companies as Blockbuster Video (Viacom Inc.), Cowabunga Pizza (Domino’s), General Electric (Plastics division), and Equity Residential Properties. My responsibilities included but were not limited to recruitment of sales personnel, training and development, managing service issues, sales forecasting and budget management. Won multiple sales awards and recognition for management expertise.

Held multiple sales positions at Bellsouth focusing on CPE sales, Was responsible for the sales and support of Nortel CPE, PBX equipment and BellSouth network services to BellSouth business customers throughout metro Atlanta focusing on mid market accounts. My additional responsibilities included the sales of network services, coordinating technicians and installations, sales of service & maintenance agreements and software upgrades. In 1996 promoted to MAM position focusing on Fortune 1000 accounts in the Southeast. At my request in 1998 was moved to regional sales trainer position focusing on new hire AE’s in various markets.
