A customer-focused role, in which I bridged the gap between Finance Entities and Budget Holders in worldwide locations. I was instrumental in managing the capital forecasting process to ensure that capital allocations were appropriate and that any risks and exposures were identified and mitigated.• Co-ordinated inputs from Worldwide Stakeholders to support the Capital Manager and Budget Holders in managing the Annual Operating Plan – circa $50M. • Project managed the creation of a financial tool in Microsoft Excel to track revenue expenditure for the Facilities department. This has improved forecasting accuracy and reduced the time allocated to run the weekly process, from 2 hours to 10 minutes.• Created a financial tool for UK Plant Finance to track and report Managed Expense (ME) per Turbo. The tool is now used in the decision making process to identify where savings can be made.• A main point of contact in relation to Ariba, (core interface used by Finance to manage Expenditure) due to having a detailed knowledge and understanding of the system. Interrogated and summarised relevant data to provide informative support to Worldwide Stakeholders.• Completed a ‘Six Sigma Introduction Course’, learning Process Mapping techniques, Pugh Matrices and Failure Modes Effects Analyses (FMEA). I used these tools to deliver projects across the business.• Completed a VBA programming training course and used this to automate processes, improving the efficiency of many key tasks.
