• Operating in the Defence, Government and Maritime industries to deliver capital projects and maintenance services.
• Negotiating with internal stakeholders, identifying Joint Venture Partners and sub-contractors to prepare and deliver highly integrated electronic systems.

• Key Responsibilities
• Team Leader for installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification for all Communications and Control Systems in Powerlink’s network (new and refurbished substations).
• Part of the team that developed, tested and commissioned Powerlink’s first IEC 61850 substations. Including 8-1 Station bus (GOOSE inter-tripping and MMS SCADA) and 9-2 Sampled Values.
• Qualified Communications Tower Climber.
• Perform emergency call-outs to investigate system abnormalities.
• 12 month secondment to ‘works planning’ position where managed and planned work/outages for 25 staff.

• Key Responsibilities
• Maintenance/repair and fault diagnosis of ships external communications, including Satellite, UHF, VHF and HF radios, and internal communications including hand-held VHF radios, inter-compartment comms, PABX and.
• Maintenance/repair ships navigational equipment including GPS, Gyroscope, Compass and Wind Speed and Direction and Log.
• Maintenance/repair Underwater Mine Disposal Vehicle and pneumatic loading system.
• Loading and handling of cryptographic material and equipment.
