Manage, supervise, coordinate and lead activities and staff to optimize the delivery of high-quality professional services to clients and political regulatory landscapes in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy markets.

As a contractor for the New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA), I direct outreach efforts across the Central New York, Finger Lakes, Western and Southern Tier regions to assist municipalities, businesses, and non-profit organizations to access state financial incentives and technical assistance programs. My responsibilities include development of strategic program partnerships with utilities, municipalities, businesses, trade and professional associations, community-based and not-for-profit organizations, etc.

I manage the Energy Program for the Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board, a public agency that serves Onondaga, Oswego, Madison, Cortland and Cayuga Counties. I am responsible for budget, contract and personnel management with a staff of five professional planners and an annual budget > $750,000. Recent accomplishments include:- coordinated development of VisionCNY, a regional GHG inventory and sustainability plan, funded by NYSERDA Cleaner, Greener Communities Program- led several Solarize campaigns that have resulted in 3.5 MW total capacity, accounting for over one-third of all residential PV systems installed in the region, more than $1.5 million in customer savings, and over $13 million in total economic impact- completed a regional plan for deployment of electric vehicle charging stations - organized the Central NY Community Solar ForumI am currently leading a portfolio of initiatives including:- NYSERDA Clean Energy Communities Program, to facilitate adoption of municipal and community-wide sustainability strategies across Upstate NY - innovative inter-municipal cooperative solar PV procurement including development of more than a dozen community solar projects with 50+ MW potential capacity- NY Prize Stage 2 Syracuse community micro-grid feasibility study- clean energy finance programs including Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) and a $1+ million revolving loan fund- 10 MW community-based wind farm- CNY Bright Lights, providing technical assistance to municipalities to upgrade their street lighting to LED - HeatSmart CNY, a community education and outreach campaign to increase the deployment of ground source and air source heat pumps- a regional network of electric vehicle charging stations- the Classroom Energy Challenge, an educational and behavior-change program for middle school teachers, administrators, students and their families

As the Mellon Associtate for Community-Based Research, I developed campus-community partnerships, facilitated thesis and course-based research projects, and trained students in quantitative and qualitative research methods including survey instruments, focus group and individual interviews, and participant observation.

Developed and coordinated participatory neighborhood planning initiative for community development corporation in low-income neighborhood. Facilitated large public planning and community action meetings for neighborhood revitalization plan and community development projects. Developed program that trained and mentored residents aged thirteen to eighteen in community organizing, media strategy, community-based oral history research and participation in community development projects. Served as project manager for key projects including public park redevelopment, community greenhouse and garden, community arts and media center in a historic landmark-designated neighborhood residence using Historic Renovation Tax Credits and New Market Tax Credits, and targeted housing rehabilitation using federal housing grants and tax credits.

Performed program evaluation of U.S. Department of Energy grant program for deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects on Native American reservations. Co-authored paper for DOE on tribal use of alternative energy technologies.
