Recent accomplishments include:- coordinated development of VisionCNY, a regional GHG inventory and sustainability plan, funded by NYSERDA Cleaner, Greener Communities Program- led several Solarize campaigns that have resulted in 3.5 MW total capacity, accounting for over one-third of all residential PV systems installed in the region, more than $1.5 million in customer savings, and over $13 million in total economic impact- completed a regional plan for deployment of electric vehicle charging stations - organized the Central NY Community Solar ForumI am currently leading a portfolio of initiatives including:- NYSERDA Clean Energy Communities Program, to facilitate adoption of municipal and community-wide sustainability strategies across Upstate NY - innovative inter-municipal cooperative solar PV procurement including development of more than a dozen community solar projects with 50+ MW potential capacity- NY Prize Stage 2 Syracuse community micro-grid feasibility study- clean energy finance programs including Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) and a $1+ million revolving loan fund- 10 MW community-based wind farm- CNY Bright Lights, providing technical assistance to municipalities to upgrade their street lighting to LED - HeatSmart CNY, a community education and outreach campaign to increase the deployment of ground source and air source heat pumps- a regional network of electric vehicle charging stations- the Classroom Energy Challenge, an educational and behavior-change program for middle school teachers, administrators, students and their families
