As Deputy Director for Marketing and Public Affairs, I administered and directed the media, communications, and marketing efforts of the California Office of Traffic Safety, including a multi million dollar budget. I was the primary media contact for this State of California department. In addition, I worked with public and private sector stakeholders, advocacy groups, state and local officials and the public in achieving marketing and public education campaigns and events.
