This diverse, hands-on role includes leading large distributed teams on multiple concurrent projects, both on-shore and off-shore. I provide architectural expertise to the teams to address complex software and cloud infrastructure engineering requirements to ensure the solutions delivered are industry-leading, scalable, robust and secure. I also maintain direct contact with internal stakeholders and end client stakeholders serving as a technical resource and non-technical client advocate.

Responsibility for all technology at the company. This is a hands-on position which includes not only the budgetary and management responsibilities but the technical implementation as well including:-- Manage an evolving technology roadmap, keeping projects in line with available technical resources and budgets.-- Plan and implement new or significantly improved systems and services.-- Manage all existing IT infrastructure including service providers, phone system, wireless and wired LAN resources, servers (both virtual and physical), workstations, thin clients, Internet and private networking configuration, applications (both industry-standard and custom-developed), Active Directory, security, etc.

Title changed to a more industry-standard one. Responsibilities effectively the same with some added emphasis on database and applications management.

This somewhat ethereal title was used to describe a multi-purpose role. I served in the following capacities:-- Systems Architect for internal computer and network systems-- Database and .NET developer for programs used internally and occasionally even for outside clients-- Outside Consultant for many Fortune 500 companies such as Tenet Healthcare, Burger King, Perot Systems, etc. Provided custom-developed high-volume printing and workflow/delivery solutions.
