I provide support, installation, training, development and testing of DBCompensation and DBDescriptions web app, as well as management of our Intranet and servers.

I provided support, installation, training, development and testing of the back end accounting/monitoring software for Duncan’s line of parking devices.

I provided utility software development, setup procedures and packaging, testing and support for Symbol products such as Access Points, Hand Held devices and Mobile devices. I was also the Change Control contact point for Symbol to RF Engineering at Wal-Mart ISD. In addition I was Systems Admin for the development lab.

I provided setup procedures, utility programming and support for enterprise-wide monitoring and configuration of the Wal-Mart RF networks, and the various client devices that used them. For example: writing, testing and distributing the operating system and applications for an RF user workstation or device. Another example would be data collection and analysis to maintain device compliance with Wal-Mart standards.

Our products were Cable TV subscriber management systems. These SMSs were written in Delphi 4 and C++, and use MSSQL or Oracle as the Database server. My responsibilities were: interface drivers from the main application to cable TV head-end hardware; interface drivers for voice response boards; and parts of the main application. I also had primary responsibility for the LAN and WAN at my branch office, as well as the local Novell, NT, Linux, Web, FTP, MS SQL, Oracle and Exchange servers. I was the last line of support, helping the tech support personnel. I was involved in writing design docs as well as test plans for our software. I also occasionally went on site to do installations.

I designed and wrote products related to videotape cataloging, linear and non-linear editing, break tape assembly and animation sequencing. These products ran on Windows, Macs, and Amigas; and were written in C/C++ and assembler. I was also responsible for the board layout, through prototyping, and production of a series of micro controllers for videotape recorder/switcher/mixer control. I also had responsibility for the LAN and WAN at the office, as well as the Novell, NT, BBS, PBX/voicemail and email servers. I was the last line of support, helping the tech support personnel. I was involved in writing design docs as well as test plans for our software. I also occasionally went on site and did installations, as well as to national and international trade shows as setup/teardown staff and demo staff.

I wrote products related to TV production and TV station automation, as well as a font generation and manipulation software, using C and assembler.
