My role at IBM, in later years, was a significant amount of application programming. I developed tools for scheduling of classes, grading students, making completion data available to other IBM applications, delivery of online courses, course development and other tools to help the education department become more efficient. My specialties include quickly learning new skills and programming languages, problem solving, responsive design principles, code optimization, and methods for organizing code. I understand the value of ongoing learning and engage in online skills training consistently to enhance my current capabilities and obtain new ones. (List of skills below.)In addition, I was also an instructor. I taught IBM employees, and the occasional external client, how to service and repair IBM equipment. Topics ranged from storage, mid-range servers, ATMs, retail equipment, and VMware. I also developed and taught a course in VMware.Lotus Notes application (including Lotus Script), C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP in a Moodle system.
