Acting general manager for Trane Commercial HVAC. Responsible for employee safety, quality manufacturing, productivity initiatives, LEAN transformation, employee development, SIOP cadence, financial reporting, customer satisfaction, and compliance in 150 person plant. As general manager I was responsible for the P&L performance of the products designed, marketed, manufactured, and supported at the facility. Led development of 2015 AOP and multi-year product investment plan. Presented plans for approval to executive level decision makers for approval.

Responsible for customer interaction on scheduling, pricing, and problem solving. Led the activities of front office team and 3PL provider in order fulfillment. Primary decision maker to assist field sales force with expedites, changes, and "winning" orders. Developed and managed the SIOP cadence for planning manufacturing operations and forecasting financial performance. Responsible for executing changes which fulfilled AOP plan. Responsible for the logistics spend in both inbound and outbound shipments. Leading idea generation and implementation for logistics productivity. Giving leadership and setting guidance for the internal logistics team, carriers, and freight consolidator. Ensuring the integrity of packaging by establishing data gathering for design changes. Responsible for purchasing team activities. Designing focus and distribution of work to planners and purchasers. Negotiate vendor contracts, and deliver purchase price productivity. Developing forecasts for major vendors to ensure material availability to limit shortages. Maintaining internal planning bill of material levels to match AOP forecasts and make rapid adjustments up or down based on incoming demand. Matching inventory levels and external planning to SIOP adjustments.
