My main responsibilities were my previous SDET 1 responsibilities with expanded roles. My extended responsibilities included managing code for several projects I worked on to automate the BVT process end to end. Also, responsible for writing manual and automated tests cases, testing, code reviews and checking in source code using source depot and CE gatekeeper.Responsibilities:• Created test plans, specifications and test requirements.• Worked with leads and PMs to identify and resolve discovered product issues.• Created tools to generate reports based on WTT result collections scheduled by an automated BVT scheduler that I wrote. My responsibilities in this position involved creating/managing build verification tests, developing BVT reporting solutions across multiple projects and ultimately automation of the same BVT processes and reporting using C#. I wrote many tools that are used by the test teams and BVT lab to verify build availability, machine status, and scheduling of automated tests when conditions were met such as the need for a new BVT pass when the builds are available.Responsibilities:• Create automation device pools of devices for automation testing and daily build verification tests. Device pools I created mainly consist of 11 variations of Windows CE embedded BSP’s, Windows 7 DMC/DMR/DMS machines for UPnP certification testing, and VM's using VMware and VirtualPC.• Create automation device pool for Windows 7 host machines and VM to run PC side BVT’s such as network traffic analysis and DMC/DMR/DMS testing for Windows CE devices.• Wrote automation tools for daily scheduling of tests via WTT (BVT and Priority0 testing) as well as monitors for checking status and error reporting.• Wrote/managed updates of automation tools for test teams to remotely check status of test devices utilized by WTT.• Test case and test plan creation for UI, usability, and stability testing for Windows Mobile 6.5. • UPnP test case/test plan creation and testing, both manual and automated to achieve DLNA certification for Windows CE. • Responsible for test case/job management and organization of multimedia branch of WTT.• Experience creating testing solutions using DART (Data-Driven Automated Runner of Tests) to control non-WTT compatible devices from within WTT. My day-to-day responsibilities included creating test plans and improving existing test plans to increase the efficiency and quality of work of the Nintendo Software Technology testing facility. I was also responsible for hardware and software testing to ensure that all products released met Nintendo’s stringent Quality of Standards requirements before release to RTM.
