Complete all annual preventative maintenance inspections thoroughly and accurately, to Crown standards. Operation and advanced understanding of RF and fiber related test equipment, such as PIM analyzer, Antenna analyzer, RF power meter, Spectrum analyzer, Signal generator, OTDR, Fusion splicer, Optic power meter, DMM. Knowledge of radio transmitters, receivers, antennas, electronic theory, fiber optic theory. Ability to safely drive and operate a DOT compliant boom truck, in the public right of way. Ability to work closely with and provide guidance to vendors both on-site and remotely. Ability to analyze and understand PIM/Sweep test data. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, while managing time for maximum efficiency. Currently responsible for Operation Technician new hire training. Market lead technician responsible for advanced troubleshooting, isolation, and repair of Small Cell/DAS equipment. Responded to multiple outages, pushing vendors to resolve osp plant issues, and advanced RF issues at the same time, all while keeping the customer informed and providing timely updates, while staying within strict SLA time frames agreed upon by the company and the customer.

Signal engineers to begin train runs, stop trains, or change speed, using telecommunications equipment or hand signals. Receive information regarding train or rail problems from dispatchers or from electronic monitoring devices. Direct and instruct workers engaged in yard activities, such as switching tracks, coupling and uncoupling cars, and routing inbound and outbound traffic. Keep records of the contents and destination of each train car, and make sure that cars are added or removed at proper points on routes. Operate controls to activate track switches and traffic signals. Supervise and coordinate crew activities to transport freight. Direct engineers to move cars to fit planned train configurations, combining or separating cars to make up or break up trains. Confer with engineers regarding train routes, timetables, and cargoes, and to discuss alternative routes when there are rail defects or obstructions. Arrange for the removal of defective cars from trains at stations or stops. Inspect each car periodically during runs. Supervise workers in the inspection and maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure efficient and safe train operation.Observe yard traffic to determine tracks available to accommodate inbound and outbound traffic. Document and prepare reports of accidents, unscheduled stops, or delays. Record departure and arrival times, messages, tickets and revenue collected. Confirm routes and destination information for freight cars. Inspect freight cars for compliance with sealing procedures and record car numbers and seal numbers.
