Guinea

Public Health Volunteer in Guinea. My responsibilities include execution of public health project framework initiatives: maternal and childhood health, malaria prevention, and nutrition. I would regularly give public health sensitizations in French and the local language Susu. Audiences ranged from 5-100.Secondary projects included teaching English at the local university, and short term projects focusing on youth entrepreneurship as well as gender equality. These were made for various topics in the three largest local languages of Guinea: Susu, Malinke, and Pular.

Geismar, Louisiana

I provided direct mechanical engineering support to five production units at the Shell Geismar Chemical facility. My role was largely based around making small project changes in the production units to support operational needs. Secondary responsibilities included turnaround and outage optimization, as well as direct outage support. I worked closely with business operations managers and finance departments to determine the feasibility and projected returns on projects before the investment decision was made.I successfully completed the Shell Graduate Program, and began work on the Shell Advanced Technical Program.
